Payment information: Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We retain transaction records including plan type and billing history.

Keywords and mention data: The keywords you track and the mentions captured are stored securely and are never shared with other customers or third parties.

Communications: If you contact us by email or through the platform, we retain those communications to resolve issues and improve our service.

How We Use Your Information

• To send you product updates, alerts, and notifications you've configured
• To process payments and manage your subscription

Data Sources

MentionTrack monitors publicly available Reddit content — posts and comments accessible without authentication. We do not access private Reddit messages, user accounts, or any data behind authentication walls. All data surfaced in your dashboard is already publicly visible on Reddit.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: Trusted third parties who help operate our platform (hosting, payment processing, email delivery) under strict confidentiality agreements
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or government authority
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice
• With your consent: In any other case, only with your explicit permission

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Mention data is retained for 12 months on Pro plans and 24 months on Agency plans. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@mentiontrack.ai.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3), access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously.

Cookies

We use cookies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze usage patterns. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some platform features may not function correctly without them. We use analytics cookies (first-party only) and do not use advertising tracking cookies.
